The farm is run by the descendants of Mary Sawyer of the world-famous nursery rhyme "Mary's Little Lamb." Open daily mid August-Oct 9-6pm; Nov-Dec Wed-Sun 10-5pm. Take Rt. 2 to 190S to exit 6, left onto Rt. 12 to Sterling Center, left onto Maple Street; we are 1/2 mile at the top of the hill on the right.

Adult agricultural-based continuing education. Overlook acquaints visitors with the world-wide development work of international non-profit Heifer International. Public events include Harvest Festival in October, Celebration of Living Gifts in December and Pancake breakfasts in March.

Lanni Orchards was established when Pasquale Lanni, his wife Rosa, their four sons and one daughter emigrated from Avellino, Italy, and purchased the land that is now known as Lanni Orchards in 1963. Our 180-acre farm is located in Central Massachusetts, Northern Worcester County, in a small community called Lunenburg. 70 acres of apples, peaches, corn, raspberries, vegetables, berries, pumpkins and flowers. Gourmet gift baskets available year round. Create your own basket for any special occasion.

Visit the last working apple orchard in Leominster, the birthplace of Johnny Appleseed. Sholan Farms provides cross-country skiing, walking trails, bird watching, a picnic area and a variety of cultural and folk events throughout the year. Pick your own apples, raspberries, and blueberries. Hours: Seasonal, U-Pick Fruit, 7 days a week, 10 am-5:30 pm (Late August through October). Follow the small red apple signs to the top of Pleasant Street just off Rt. 12 in Leominster.
