Sterling Fair
Dates: September 10-12, 2010
The Sterling Airport, 121 Greenland Road, Sterling
FREE ADMISSION: Friday, 4:45 - 11pm
Saturday, 8am - 11pm
Sunday, 8am - 5pm
We are celebrating Sterling's apple heritage, and there will be apple exhibits everywhere!
Beef & dairy cattle, goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep, swine, agricultural, horticultural & home arts, auction of donated items (Sunday), 4-H membership, chick hatching and rabbit displays, Heifer Project International livestock exhibit, Dale Perkins sheep dog demonstration, hooking/spinning/weaving demonstration, horses & oxen, apple pie making, chocolate chip cookie making, largest produce, children's pumpkin decorating, lego, scarecrow decorating, adult vegetable/gourd decorating, antique engine & machinary show, craft show, kidding pedal tractor pull, frog jumping, log sawing, fireworks (Saturday), Frog Town Mountain Puppeteers, Gillette Shows midway & local bands, farmers market, pancake breakfast, food & commercial vendors.
